Tongasoa Lodges
Our Tongasoa Lodges are idyllically and peacefully situated in the forest with exclusive access to the Ivory Valley (during regular park hours). The tents offer an authentic safari experience combined with every modern comfort. Depending on their size, the Tongasoa tents feature 6 or 7 beds, a bathroom, and a central living and fully equipped kitchen area with underfloor heating. The covered and furnished terrace is the perfect spot to relax and unwind on balmy summer evenings.

6 or 7 beds (2 bedrooms and an alcove—ideal for children).
The Tongasoa Lodges are not insulated buildings, but canvas tents with underfloor heating.
All tents have WiFi and a kitchenette with an induction cooktop, microwave with grill function, coffee maker, kettle, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher.
Hair dryer (available upon request at the front desk).
Final cleaning, bed linens, towels, and breakfast are included.

Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is included.
Dinner: You have the option to book the varied dinner buffet.
Drinks are not included and must be paid for directly at the restaurant.
Price on-site or for individual evenings:
Adult €27.50 / Child (ages 3–12) €15.50
For bookings made up to 48 hours before arrival and for the entire stay:
Adult €25.50 / Child (ages 3–12) €14.50
We love animals, and if you’d like to bring your dog, that’s no problem. Just make sure not to leave your dog unattended in the house during the day, and please follow the general guidelines regarding leash requirements and specific attractions. There is a fee of 10 euros per night for your dog, and you must register your dog in advance when making your reservation. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per lodge.

This is the quickest way to find out when your preferred lodge has availability and secure your vacation! If you’re not quite sure yet about the number of park admissions or additional offerings like bus tours, dinners, and more, that’s no problem. You can still book all these options on-site.*

Park admission is not included in the room rate.

Overnight stays in our lodges are only permitted if at least one standard park admission ticket is purchased per person per stay.

If you check out by 10:30 a.m., there is no additional park admission fee. However, if you visit the park after checking out, you will need to pay the admission fee for that day again at the front desk.

If you've paid the full admission price for two days, you'll get all subsequent days for free.
You may cancel your reservation at any time, but you must do so in writing by emailing uebernachten@serengeti-park.de.
Specially marked discount offers may be excluded from cancellation!
Cancellation fees:
Cancellations are free of charge up to 15 days before the start of your trip.
From 14 days to 1 day before arrival: 50% of the total price of the booked services.
For cancellations on the day of arrival or no-shows, 100% of the total price will be charged.
Rescheduling:
Within the cancellation period, we offer you a one-time free rescheduling. This rescheduling is only possible within the current season. If this rescheduling option is used, the cancellation period expires.
